Dr Michele Kiernan – Director

Dr Michele Kiernan is a senior technician in the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth, with extensive experience in laboratory management and applied research. She previously held a Research Fellow position in systems biology, leading work in genomics and molecular analysis.

Her research experience includes next-generation sequencing, digital PCR, and qPCR, with applications across a range of fields including soil microbiology, the oral microbiome, and neurological health.

Michele contributes technical and analytical expertise to Seadream’s work, supporting data collection, processing, and research development.
