Celebrating Biodiversity and Aquatic Habitats

Seadream is developing a brand-new session to bring the beauty of our local aquatic environments directly to communities. Through engaging activities at community events and school fairs, we aim to inspire people of all ages to appreciate and protect our rivers, estuaries, and coastline.

Hands-On, Free Activities

Our sessions will include free, interactive activities in public spaces, designed to:

  • Celebrate the stunning local coastline, rivers, and biodiversity.
  • Reduce eco-anxiety by focusing on positive engagement with nature.
  • Raise awareness of the link between people’s daily actions and the natural environment.
  • Show how eco- and energy-focused behaviours contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.

Immersive VR and Local Storytelling

Using our own locally sourced 360-degree footage, participants can explore underwater life beneath a coastal pontoon, watch rivers meander to the sea, and connect with the cultural and natural heritage of their area. By combining real-life imagery with local stories and traditions, we create experiences that foster a strong sense of place, encouraging stewardship and care for local ecosystems.

Creative, Mass-Participation Activities

As part of our events, participants will contribute to a large tactile collage made from scrap fabrics, representing the incredible biodiversity found under a coastal pontoon. This hands-on, community-led art project celebrates local wildlife while encouraging creativity and teamwork.

Where We Work

We deliver activities across Devon and Cornwall, including Clyst St Mary, Exmouth, Teignbridge, Budleigh Salterton and beyond – connecting people with the richness of their local environment.
